SHOCKING Polls: DeSantis Triumphs, Vivek Suffers a Loss?

In the recent 538/Washington Post/Ipsos poll following the fourth Republican Party presidential primary debate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis emerged as the top performer, according to respondents. During the debate, DeSantis shared the center stage with former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, while former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and pharmaceutical executive Vivek Ramaswamy occupied the stage ends.

From viewers of the NewsNation debate in Alabama, 30% favored DeSantis' performance, followed by Haley at 23%, Christie at 19%, and Ramaswamy at 16%. Conversely, 7% perceived DeSantis as the weakest, while 9% thought so of Haley, 31% of Christie, and 37% of Ramaswamy.

The poll didn't show significant shifts in voter preferences towards or away from any candidate. DeSantis, among those on stage, garnered the highest consideration from voters at 56%, second only to former President Donald Trump, who wasn't present and received 61%.

Debate moderator Megyn Kelly shared her views, asserting that DeSantis excelled in the debate, while Haley, despite recent rises in polls, appeared to falter, stating, “I thought Nikki Haley lost last night because she shrunk away... and that version of her did not appear on stage last night.”

Summing up, Kelly added, “I thought Ron DeSantis had his best debate yet... you could probably say he’s the winner because he’s in the best poll position of the four.”
