Two Americans charged with murder of Canadian tycoon in Caribbean

Two Americans, Jonathan Lehrer and Robert Snider, were charged with murder on Wednesday in connection with the death of animation pioneer and Quebec philanthropist Daniel Langlois and his partner, Dominique Marchand, on the island of Dominica, as reported by local police.

The bodies of Langlois and Marchand, who had been missing for several days, were discovered incinerated in a car near Gallion, located in the southern part of the small Caribbean island where the couple owned a hotel.

The Dominica police spokesperson confirmed the murder charges, stating, “Two American citizens, Jonathan Lehrer and Robert Snider, have been charged with murder and are currently in custody,” Barron’s reported.
