The Kent County Animal Shelter is lowering the cost of pet adoption

The shelter says it has over 100 animals currently, which are mostly dogs. Instead of puppies for Christmas, the public is being encouraged to adopt a dog at the shelter who is looking for a forever home. Through December 16th, the shelter is partnering with Bissell Pet Foundation to lower adoption fees to just 50-dollars.
