Axis / Fallon - My Dreams

One of my very early songs composed/arranged in Impulse Tracker 2.14! My Dreams was completed on July 7th, 2003!

This track was made during a transitional period in my musical career, and also at a time when I was attempting (and failing) to get signed by a record label as well as work with vocalists. I'll save my rant about vocalists and record labels for another time though. The more relevant fact is that I was slowly migrating over to FL Studio from Impulse Tracker from 2002-2003 and this song was the last one I completed in IT2.

At the time, I wasn't sure if my FL Studio music would have any momentum, being severely limited on samples, VSTs, and still being widely unfamiliar with the DAW's many features. I decided to stick with it and I suppose the results do speak for themselves.

This won't be the last tracker song I upload, far from it in fact! I'm very happy that these are getting so much love. More music on the way soon! :D
