How it works: With proper diagnosis; take a tiny sip of water upon the tickle preceding the cough. (Not atop the cough!) This is to be done when the cough is at its worst; and any decrease of intensity and increase in time between coughs means that it worked and all you need to do is practice, practice, practice.
