Wild Urban Gardens 2021 - First Garden Plot Created

We finished prepping our first garden plot today. Since this used to be a wild field, and they basically removed the topsoil, we are basically building the soil from scratch.

We started by breaking up the dense clay. Then we pulled out loads of deep roots, chunks of wood, and rocks. Then we added compost.

Next we will mix in some peat based growers mix, and start sowing some seeds.
