Stroggification in Quake 4 | Mature Content

This scene blew my mind! This is where the main character of Quake 4, Matthew Kane, undergoes Stroggification; a conversion of a human being into an alien Strogg elite soldier through Strogg cybernetic surgery and augmentation.

Stroggification is a barbaric surgical process where limbs and flesh are modified and fused with machinery. This process is also the only way the Strogg are known to procreate. The Strogg are so good at this, they can even salvage dead body parts and use them in the creation of new Strogg.

Becoming a Strogg becomes critical in Quake 4, as human soldiers simply can't get through some of the security areas the Strogg have created where a DNA scan is required.
