Hollywood’s inability to make good films and stop pushing political and social agendas is hurting the theater business, and in 2023, there is no bigger than the Walt Disney Company. 2023 has featured one bomb after another from the House of Mouse, and after Wish and The Marvels flamed out in the box office, analysts declared the month November took a 12% hit, year over year. With the high cost of tickets, not to mention that audiences simply are not showing up to watch woke garbage, it seems Hollywood itself is creating an existential crisis for their partners in the movie theater business.
