This trial examined the effects of H. erinaceus on cognitive function and mood in young adults. Participants took a single 1.8 g dose of H. erinaceus and then supplemented for 28 days. Results showed faster performance on the Stroop task with a single dose and a potential stress-reducing effect with supplementation.
