Kern County Fire Department battles warehouse fire in Rosedale

The Kern County Fire Department responded to a fire Saturday night. A 5,000 square foot warehouse caught fire at Rosedale Highway and Wegis Ave. The Bakersfield Police Department is assisting in putting out the fire. As of about 11 p.m. Saturday night, officials expected the fire to be put out within an hour. Officials are unsure what caused the fire at this time and an investigation is underway.
