Drive-by shooting in Southwest Bakersfield leaves one man with moderate injuries

The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for the suspects involved in a drive-by shooting that happened in Southwest Bakersfield. BPD says it happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Wible Road and Ming Avenue. The passenger of a vehicle was shot by someone in another vehicle. The man who was shot was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. BPD has no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call BPD at 327-7111.
