Activation of the Melchizedek Priesthood

EXODUS 19:1-9, 10-15

THE DIMENSIONS OF THE PRIESTHOOD ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF CHRIST

My question to this generation is, will you answer the call of God to “Come up here so I can show you things to come!” – Rev. 4:1 ... It is vital in order to become a Priest!

• It was Daniel who said, “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” - DANIEL 12:3 NIV

What is the “Order” of God? An Order constitutes the reality, “as it is in the heavens” ... It is the operation of God and an activity existing at the same time ... such as worship, intercession and heaven’s priestly administration manifesting on Earth.

The book of Hebrews says that the heavenly pattern is superior to its earthly manifestation ... In other words, the heavenly Melchizidekian Priesthood is superior to the Levitical Priesthood … PSALM 110:3-5 AND IN HEBREWS 7:17 NKJV

“For He testifies: "YOU ARE A PRIEST FOREVER ACCORDING TO THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.”

I believe, that “now” is the time that heaven’s Priestly administration to manifest on Earth ... This coming activation into the Order of Melchizedek (I believe) is the next manifestation from Heaven ... I believe this is what is disturbing the devil!!

According to Revelation 11:15 the average saint (Priest) will move in more power than the greatest ministers that ever walked this Earth … God has been equipping believers for a glory-revolution ... SEE EZEKIEL 34:2-13 NASB

A KINGDOM OF PRIESTS FROM THE BEGINNING

On Mount Sinai God issued an invitation to the Israelites/OT Church: "And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel." - EXODUS 19:6

• These were the very words God spoke to Israel “before” they received the Ten Commandments.

Priests serve as a mediator between God and men … A "Kingdom of Priests" had been called by God to bring God’s Word to man ... With this high calling and a holy nation, the people had to be holy, consecrated to God. - EXODUS 19:1-25

Then on Sinai God gave the Ten Commandments ... “And God spoke all these words: ‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.’ ‘You shall have no other gods before me.’ - EXODUS 20:1-3

• In verses 20 and 24 of Exodus 19, not all could come near ... They were afraid of the voice of God ... Notice in Exodus 20:18-21 NKJV there is no separation between the Father, and us, His children.

God invited His people to draw near to speak with them ... God did not want to have to say as He did with the prophets: when there is a prophet among you, I will make myself known to him in a vision, I speak with him in a dream. – (NUM. 12:6)

• It wasn’t that way with my servant Moses. He is the only one who is faithful in my entire household. With him I speak face to face and clearly, not in riddles; he sees the image of Adonai.” (Numbers 12:6-8 CJB.)

The significance of the Order of Melchizedek is we all can have a face to face encounter with God ... When God showed His awesomeness on the mount; there were thunder and lightning just as in the throne room of Heaven. - REVELATION 4:5

However, the people saw the display of the awesomeness of God and were afraid ... They had a fear of the supernatural, and therefore, they said, “Moses, you go and speak for us.” - That was their mistake!

• God wants all of His people to be close and to become His Priests ... It was because of their fear and immaturity that there arose a need for the Levitical and Aaronic Priesthoods.

• God never wanted to be separated from His people ... They are the ones that refused to come draw near, so God withdrew Himself and dwelt in the Holiest of Holies where only the High Priest could enter.

I believe, God instituted the Levitical Priesthood because the people refused to fellowship with Him themselves ... What they could have learned from God themselves, they now were spoon-fed by Moses and the Levitical Priesthood.

• God would have written His law on their hearts even in Old Testament times. (See Romans 2:15.) God was exhibiting one of His most prevalent attributes ... patience.

The purpose of the fivefold is to equip you until you come into the fullness of God, so that you may have supernatural encounters with Him as consecrated Melchizedek Priests.
