A house in Arlington, VA exploded after police say a suspect fired a flare gun inside of the home.

Police say officers were attempting to execute a search warrant when the suspect fired the flare gun, leading to the massive blast.

Officers on scene reported minor injuries with no one transported to the hospital, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Community members in an Arlington neighborhood are being told to shelter in place.
