E15 MPLS The Central Path

This video will highlight my thinking process that I had over the past 30 years of competition, teaching and training. The Central Path is an evolution in Jiu-Jitsu. Following the Central Path has led to many victories in competition as well in just general training.

The Central Path states that you do what works best first. Jiu-Jitsu is so complex that most people don't know where to start. Many instructors teach moves. Teaching moves without any order doesn't make sense. It leaves experimentation and development up to the student.

The way I look at Jiu-Jitsu is I only want to work with techniques that have a high level of efficiency and effectiveness. Learning the Central Path in each position is essential to learning Jiu-Jitsu as quickly as possible.

Along with the JVOS mindset, the central path is another pillar in my Jiu-Jitsu. If you learn the Central Path first, the opponent will start to react in predictable ways which allows you to generate a consistent and reliable timeline of events.
