1985 Suzuki AX100 - Dunedin to Balclutha staying off the highway

With some parts to collect from Balclutha, I decided to take the scenic route. From Dunedin, heading first to Brighton, then down the coast to Taieri Mouth. Then continuing through Akatore and Glenledi, coming out onto Back Road at Milton. Through Tokoiti and Moneymore and onto Lakeside Road. Then down to Kaitangata, through Stirling and finally into Balclutha. With the parts collected, fuel topped off and some supplies for lunch, it was back to Kaitangata War Memorial Gardens for a bite to eat, before heading home. Overall around a 250km trip, with around 60km on gravel. The AX100 isn't really ideal for the loose gravel roads, but I took it steady and tried to stay on the well worn tracks. Fuel for the trip was around $20.00.
