Lawyer Barry Bussey was called to the Newfoundland Bar in 1993 and the Ontario Bar in 1996. Barry has devoted his career to defending conscience. He has served as intervenor counsel in multiple cases involving religious liberty in Canada. Barry has also advocated for religious and charitable interests before provincial and federal governments and represented the International Religious Liberty Association at the United Nations in New York and Geneva.

In his latest book - his fourth - 210° Celsius: 16 Ways the Truckers Ignited Canada for the Long Haul, Barry chronicles the events of the protest, including the invocation of the Emergencies Act, and he highlights the impact the convoy had on Canadians’ perception of government, the judiciary, and personal freedom.
