Suspect in custody in killings of 3 homeless men in Los Angeles

On Saturday, the Los Angeles police disclosed that they have identified a suspect linked to the recent murders of three homeless individuals.

The individual in question, Jerrid Joseph Powell, aged 33, was already in custody following his arrest earlier in the week for the killing of a county employee.

Powell was apprehended on Thursday, charged with the fatal shooting of a father of two in San Dimas, California, during a follow-home robbery on Tuesday, NBC News reported.

Police Chief Michel Moore revealed on Saturday that the police successfully connected Powell’s vehicle, captured in security footage from Tuesday’s killing, to the car associated with the suspect believed to be responsible for the deaths of the three homeless victims.
