Jamaica Ranked Among the SAFEST Countries -- Really!?!?!?

In two recent articles published in the Jamaica Observer and the Loop-- an online Jamaican publication, Jamaica is said to be ranked among the safest countries in the world. Given Jamaica's record as being ranked, even in recent profile, as one of the murderous countries in the world, how did the Gallup Poll Inc., arrive at a such a false conclusion? That is the question.

However, the Jamaica Gleaner, in an article dated, December 2, 2023, titled, "Robbery Rampage," presents a contrarian viewpoint as regards the perception of crime and violence on the island. Business leaders in Westmoreland do not feel safe in the daily operations of their businesses.
