Salvation Army prepares to serve Thanksgiving dinner

The food is prepped and ready for the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving dinner. Volunteers spent the last two days deboning 140 turkeys, preparing 20 pans of mashed potatoes, 15 gallons of gravy, green beans, stuffing and more. They expect to feed 500 families, and to distribute meals to 1,000 more families across the metro.
