Man shot, killed near Family Dollar on Indianapolis’ east side

A man was shot and killed outside of a store on Indianapolis’ east side Tuesday night. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said the man was shot outside of a Family Dollar store near East 21st Street and Arlington Avenue. Officers said the victim was sitting in a Monte Carlo, which was parked in front of the store, when he was shot by another male while sitting in the car. The man was shot twice, according to IMPD.
