Nearly 80% of Canadians believed at least 1 conspiracy theory: poll

In a recent survey, 79% of Canadian respondents said they accepted at least one of the conspiracy theories presented to them; by contrast, 84% of Americans who were given the same selection of 15 unverified or fake stories said the same.

Leger conducted a nationwide survey between November 24 and 26, with 1,001 Americans and 1,529 Canadians, on behalf of The Canadian Press. The results were weighted to guarantee a representative sample of each group.
