Episode 007 - The Chase Vault

Was the Chase family vault haunted?

Though Mister Nickell's theory is admittedly somewhat convincing, he has essentially used the same line of reasoning before in regards to another famous mystery: the Oak Island Money Pit.

This could either indicate a sizable amount of interconnectedness between some of the world's Fortean subjects, or the penchant for a proverbial hammer to see every problem as a nail.

Also, observant viewers might note that there seems to be more than one version of the 'sketches' of the vault's contents. More than one version does in fact exist, but it is not clear if the versions depict the coffin's geography on different dates or not.

The diagram shown at around 13:20 is generally regarded as accurate for the final opening and is the one most commonly reproduced.
