DayZ: First time ever in PvP

I got engaged from a base while on a loot run. First time ever in pvp and got my first ever kill. Being a noob, I had incorrect zero so missed a lot of shots I should've made. It was a two hour 2 v 1. It was getting late so I ended up bugging out after sending one baser back to the coast.
