Hamas-Israel deal: Joy and relief as 17 Thai captives return home from Gaza

17 Thai nationals are reuniting with their families

after being held captive by Hamas for more than

six weeks.

Another six have been freed and will return to Thailand after completing medical checks.

Bangkok says it is doing everything it can to bring home the remaining Thai nationals held captive by Hamas. It is working with Qatar, Malaysia and other countries to secure their release.
