There is a main source, then many other sources, on the internet, that are now conflating Schizoid Personality Disorder with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. They are not at all one or even related personality disorder(s). Schizoid individuals are NOT Narcissistic. The tendency for this source, and then others who are confused to think that due to a few similar things between these two personality disorders (or other PD's) that look similar that the disorders are therefore the same. NO, not at all true. Schizoid Personality Disorder, unlike NPD (Cluster B) is a Cluster A Personality Disorder ("odd, eccentric). Please don't get all your information from this one source or you'll end up confused or believing that EVERYTHING is NPD, which is patently false.
