Driver Hits Bear in Overnight Crash

A driver hit a bear while heading down SR-82 late Saturday night. This is just east of Corkscrew Road at exit 123. SR-82 was down to only one lane as Immokalee Fire crews assisted those involved in the crash. The driver suffered minor injuries, said Immokalee Fire. The status of the bear is unclear. All lanes have since been cleared.
