We plant corals in the Caribbean (much harder than we thought) - EP 71

Travelling to an island off the coast of Colombia, meeting with an amazing crew of biologists, collect fragments of coral under water, scuba dive to go plant the corals in the reef. This week we are out of our comfort zone.

We are now on our last week in Colombia and let us tell you it was an incredible country. But we are not quite done with it and this last adventure is really an amazing way to conclude this journey. We are going to learn how to plant coral! We leave Albatross for the week and head to Isla Fuerte, an island off the coast of Colombia. Coral reefs are slowly disappearing all around the world due to rising water temperature and intensive fishing between other causes. And Isla Fuerte where we travel this week is no exception. Thankfully some people try to take action and reverse this tragic phenomenon. This week we accompany them and learn how to plant coral.
