Al-Baqara, alternatively transliterated Al-Baqarah, is the second and longest chapter of the Quran. It consists of 286 verses which begin with the "muqatta'at" letters alif, l?m, and m?m. Q2:282 is the longest single verse in the Quran, and is concerned with agricultural futures contracts.
