My Flow hive fail. I have a laying worker and a flow hive frame filled with capped drone brood. The Red flow hive is queenless but that doesn't stop them from creating drama in the bee yard. The Red hive has a laying worker that moves freely through the queen excluder and has laid drone brood on every level and on every frame in this hive including the flow hive flow frames. What do I do now? Do I pick the drone brood out of the flow hive frames with tweezers and place the flow frames on another hive or do I wait for 23 days and let them hatch and leave the flow frames? Are drones laid by a laying worker even viable? Will they hatch? I don't know. If you do know, please leave a comment and help me out here.
