A family doubled in size Friday when they adopted five children

November is National Adoption Awareness Month and around 40 children were officially adopted by their forever families Friday afternoon. Nearly two-thousand children are in and out of foster care in Kern County and the first adoption of the day was a family of five...now a family of ten.
