Imp Pear seeds were offered from November 29, 2023 through December 6, 2023.

Imp Pear is a member of the Ail-Mint family.
Imp Pear costs 0 Sun.
When a non-imp zombie eats an Imp Pear, said zombie will transform into an imp zombie.
When an imp zombie eats an Imp Pear, said zombie will be defeated.
Zombies defeated this way will “fart”. This noxious gas will stall all zombies behind it for seven (7) seconds.
When given plant food, Imp Pear will do one of those effect to five (5) random zombies on the lawn. (+1 zombie per level.)

Commentary:
At first glance, Imp Pear is not that impressive. Even at zero (0) Sun, planting Imp Pear twice to eliminate a zombie sounds tedious. Why not spend 50 Sun on Chili Bean or Squash instead?

But it's the plant food effect where Imp Pear really shines. Transforming zombies into imps definitely can change the dynamics of things.

Bottom Line:
Imp Pear is one of the best plants in the game. Get as many of these seeds as you can while you are able.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
