During her visit to Minnesota, Secretary Granholm visited the Lincoln Park Solar Garden with Senator Tina Smith (MN) and Duluth, Minnesota Mayor Emily Larson.
The community solar project will provide power to Duluth Veterans’ Place, a transitional housing project by the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, and provide long-term funding for an Emergency Energy Fund to help families struggling to pay their utility bills.
