The Oakland City Council in California attempted to pass a resolution calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. However, in the resolution was a line condemning Hamas, which dozens of residents deemed unacceptable. The council was then subjected to hours of people defending the terroirsts and blasting Israel.
