Thailand Pass: Test and Go uncertain, Pattaya shocking scenes, CCSA and more

Test and Go cut off date could be January 15th, since the CCSA cant seem to give a concrete date for those holding Test n go Thai passes.
They will reevaluate as cases increase in Thailand.
2) 69 provinces are now categorized as controlled areas (orange zone), with the exception of 8 provinces belonging to the pilot tourism/sandbox areas (blue zone), namely Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Krabi, Chonburi, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Phang Nga, Phuket including some districts in other provinces in the pilot tourism areas.
3) The CCSA has asked for the kind cooperation of all entities and agencies to implement work from home measures until 31 January 2022.
4) Entertainment venues such as pub, bar, karaoke venues have been allowed to apply for permits to operate temporarily as restaurants from 16 January 2022, subject to the approval of the competent local authorities. The venues are required to strictly exercise the covid free setting measures.
5) For the provinces in the blue zone, consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed until 9 pm under covid free settings and only in establishments that have received the SHA plus certification.
6) CCSA has lifted all prior restrictions for travelers departing from Africa. International travelers from all countries can now enter Thailand under the same scheme namely the Sandbox scheme and Alternative Quarantine.
7) Travelers departing from African countries can now register for the Thailand Pass to enter the Kingdom under the Sandbox program from 11 January 2022 via Surat Thani Sandbox, Phang Nga Sandbox and Krabi Sandbox which is an extension from the Phuket Sandbox scheme in order to reduce limited capacities for Phuket. The quarantine period under the Alternative Quarantine (AQ) scheme will be reduced from 14 days to 7 days for vaccinated travelers and 10 days for unvaccinated visitors.
8) Travelers who had been previously approved to enter Thailand under AQ scheme but wish to switch to a different scheme must re-register for the Thailand Pass.
9) New registration under the Test and Go scheme has been suspended indefinitely subject to assessment of the international outbreak of the Omicron variant.
10) Those who have already received QR code for traveling to Thailand, can still do so as per their approved scheduled. However, given the global outbreak of the Omicron variant, adjustment of measures may be possible.
11) DOPH is pleased to inform that the “Mor Prom” application is now available for foreigners residing in Thailand. Those who are vaccinated at least one dose of COVID vaccine can now view their vaccine related information on the Mor Prom application which is available on both Apple store and play store. .
12) Follow measures, now referred to as VUCA.

* C is for COVID Free setting that all establishments need to follow
* A for Antigen test kit when people feel that they might be exposed to the virus, they should take the ATK just to be on the safe side.
