🍑 INTRO TO HIP MOBILITY
🔑 Form Tips:
1️⃣ Int/Ext rotation (clams): try to maintain a little bit of space under the bottom waist to elongate the waist, engage the deep core, and avoid collapsing into the lower back.
2️⃣ Flexion/Extension: maintain a neutral spine throughout (don’t “tuck” the pelvis as the leg comes forward).
3️⃣ Abduction: think of reaching the leg longer much more than just lifting it higher.
4️⃣ Circumduction: remember: the goal is to only move the leg in as big of a circle as you can while maintaining a stable pelvis (ie it might not be as big as this).
