Man Reported Injured in North Port Shooting

A man suffered a gun shot wound and was flown to a trauma center Thursday night, said North Port Police. Police began investigating the shooting shortly after 3 pm in the 8300 block of Herbison Avenue in North Port. Police say this is an isolated incident.
