Police Investigating Robbery at Fort Myers Wendy's

A Florida Atlantic University student was arrested for allegedly breaking into several unoccupied vehicles. Neighbors in the Timberwalk Community in Fort Myers say their cars and trucks were rummaged through and items were removed. Detectives later identified the suspect as 19-year-old William Beemer, a student at FIU who recently resided in the Timberwalk Community. He was arrested and charged with 12 counts of Burglary Unoccupied Conveyance, Grand Theft, 6 county of Petit Theft, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance without Prescription and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
