Eastern Jackson County Courthouse closed due to water main break

The Eastern Jackson County Courthouse, located at 308 W. Kansas Ave. in Independence, Missouri, is closed due to a water main break. The water main break is affecting the electrical areas in the building. Employees were evacuated as crews tried to fix the problem.
