Police arrested a 34-year-old female for felony harassment and recovered three firearms Monday morning in the Chinatown-International District.

The arrest stemmed from 911 call in late October when a security guard reported to police the female threatened to shoot him.

During the investigation, officers were told the suspect entered an apartment complex to visit a resident. The suspect was asked to wait for the resident to escort her upstairs but refused and attempted to enter the elevator. When the security guard stopped the suspect, she produced a firearm and threatened to shoot the victim. Officers searched the apartment complex but were unable to locate the suspect.

Monday morning police located the female in the 1200 block of South Jackson Street and took her into custody. Officers recovered three firearms and suspected narcotics in her possession. One of the firearms was reported stolen.

Officers learned the suspect was legally prohibited from possessing a firearm and had an outstanding warrant for arrest.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and felony harassment.
