Kansas City Animal Control officers are now investigating an attempted dog poisoning in Waldo after a homeowner discovered a raw hamburger patty stuffed with pellets in the middle of her yard. On Wednesday, investigators went door-to-door, asking neighbors if they had seen anything or knew who left the raw meat.
