Suspect in shooting of 3 Palestinian students pleads not guilty

James Eaton, the suspect accused of shooting three Palestinian college students in Burlington, Vermont, entered a not guilty plea to three charges of attempted murder in the second degree, and is being held without bail. Eaton's attorney entered the not guilty plea on his behalf, and waived formal reading of the charges in Chittenden County Superior Court. A formal hearing on Eaton's bail will be set in the next few days, Superior Court Judge Gregory Rainville said.
