Assault group of the Airborne Forces to capture and clear a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

During the active defense north of Artyomovsk, a crew of unmanned aerial vehicles discovered a platoon stronghold with a unit of Ukrainian military personnel entrenched in it. The transmitted coordinates were struck by airborne artillery crews. After this, an assault detachment of Russian paratroopers captured and cleared a Ukrainian stronghold in a forest plantation.

Approaching secretly and unnoticed by the enemy from different directions, the Svirtsy guards attacked the strong point. Having broken the resistance of the Ukrainian military with small arms fire and hand fragmentation grenades, the paratroopers forced them to lay down their arms and surrender. Those who resisted were liquidated. As a result of the battle, four Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were captured, the rest, abandoning a large amount of weapons and ammunition, retreated.
