The Grand Rapids City Commission is approving a settlement

The incident happened in 2020 when 59-year-old Nathan Hansen was struck by a police vehicle while riding his motorcycle. Hansen later sued the city and city leaders have approved a 275-thousand-dollar payout to Hansen to settle the lawsuit.
