In this webinar, Andrew Kell explores the basics of PRINCE2 and how it can be integrated with agile methodologies.

He begins by providing an overview of projects and agile, including the differences between the linear waterfall approach and iterative and incremental agile approaches.

Andrew then delves into the key principles of PRINCE2 and how it has evolved into PRINCE2 Agile through the integration of PRINCE2 and agile. He defines PRINCE2 Agile as guidance on how to apply agile in a PRINCE2 environment.

PRINCE2 Agile has several key objectives that must meet for a successful outcome. For example, PRINCE2 Agile helps to ensure a high level of quality.

Andrew highlights five key features of PRINCE2 Agile, including agile behaviours, agile frameworks, agile focus areas, agile techniques, and agile concepts.

He explains the agile behaviours associated with PRINCE2 Agile, including transparency, collaboration, rich communication, self-organisation, and exploration.

He also discusses the various agile frameworks that are commonly used with PRINCE2 and whether some are more commonly used than others.
In the agile focus areas, Andrew discusses five key areas that must be considered.

He also mentions certain agile techniques to keep in mind when applying PRINCE2 within an agile environment.

Finally, he discusses the key agile concepts.

PRINCE2 Agile courses

PRINCE2 Agile is a project management certification program developed by AXELOS and released in June 2015.

It was created in response to the increasing demand from the management community for a project management method that incorporates agile tools and practices.

PRINCE2 Agile combines the strong governance and control elements of the PRINCE2 method with the flexibility and adaptability of agile, providing a comprehensive approach to project management that can be applied in a wide range of industries and contexts.

The PRINCE2 Agile qualification consists of two levels: the Foundation level and the Practitioner level.

The Foundation level training is designed to give students a basic understanding of how to use PRINCE2 within an agile framework.

The Practitioner level training focuses on applying PRINCE2 in an agile context, providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to use the method in real-world situations effectively.

Both the Foundation and Practitioner levels of the PRINCE2 Agile qualification are valuable for those interested in using PRINCE2 Agile in their project management practices.

In our instructor-led course, you will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced and professional PRINCE2 Agile trainer.
