As you will see in todays Southern Illinois hunting land property tour that my 3rd and last fall planting I drilled the scorched food plots and even some bare spots within certain food plots in the 2nd week of October and that late fall food plot drilling was magic! It's never too late to replant, at least when you live in the mid South like we do, where the ground can stay warm well into late October and even into November some years. Also during our fall food plot updates I will tell you some deer hunting stories, but with video to back them up! Yep, last season I arrowed a 180" massive Southern Illinois buck, that by all accounts should be on my wall! But it was the toughest buck I've ever seen, not only surviving my neighbor arrowing him the night before, but surviving my one lung and likely liver shot the very next day!! Yep, this is generally my kind of luck in life, in general, which is why I continue working so hard to succeed at things in life! Nothing ever comes easy!
