The Artist: Victor Pross is a professional artist and illustrator with extensive experience in caricature, comic art, editorials, fine art painting and murals. He has worked on various posters, comic books, CD covers, book covers, gaming boards, etc., bringing to each work his own unique style.

Victor has been producing high quality illustrations for local and international magazines, periodicals, newspapers gags and illustrations for articles.

As a visual artist, Victor Pross has many high-profile commissions to his credit including painting actor/director Ron Howard’s caricature portrait as a 50th birthday gift for the famous director, as well as painting various agents of the William Morris Agency. Victor has also illustrated a caricature of Hollywood actor Fred Ward that served as a “prop” for a movie, and the original art work was later given to the actor.

The artist has been interviewed on television shows such as: Canada AM, Breakfast Television, News at Noon and numerous podcasts. Victor Pross has been pegged by Canadian Media as “Canada’s foremost caricature artist.”

Victor Pross’ first book featuring writings and art by the artist is Icons & Idols: Pop goes the culture. Icons & Idols is based on the idea that actors, politicians, writers, musicians - the famous - constitute a modern mythology. It is an eye-popping visual homage and satire of pop culture that is sure to tickle a funny bone and hatch a few thoughts.

Another book featuring yet more art and writings by Victor Pross is in the works, including a graphic novel titled That Man & Robert, a social satire.
