Axial SCX10 II RTR Jeep Cherokee First Run & Impression

Click to subscribe: http://bit.ly/Sub-CCxRC  — Aww Yeah...the first run with the Axial SCX10 II RTR is in the bag and there are so many good things to say about it. First, it saved my weekend after my SCX10 went down for the count. Second, it's just a really solid truck with some features I like better than my upgraded SCX10. The 35t motor did feel slow at first, but I soon forgot about it as the truck handled super smooth and steady. The steering is probably my favorite part of the truck. Man, can it turn on a dime! However, the power of the servo felt weak when there was resistance and I was trying to get some of the steering on the rocks. Maybe a 3s battery would help give it some more power. If not, I may be looking at another servo...but I swear I got more from the same Tactic servo in my SCX10. Maybe it is the ESC not sending enough power its way...not sure yet. Wasn't a huge issue, I just noticed it and mentioned it to the guys several times on the trails.

The huge bumpers may go for something else in the future and the trailer hitch will most likely be coming off as they all hung up on the trails. I left it all out-of-box stock to show how it handled, but the trailer hitch will only be for show on my truck.

The trailing links were fine and slid well on the rocks and the remote was a lot better to use than I expected. I plan to keep using it for a while because I can drive it one handed.

Like usual, Axial hit it out of the park with this one and I think you'll get the full enjoyment out of the price you pay for it.
