WELCOME to this special flight report! On 28th November, my mum flew Qantas QF128 service from Hong Kong to Sydney, the aircraft was operated by a Boeing 747-400ER. From 1st December onwards, Qantas will no longer fly 747 to Hong Kong (regularly). The route will be operated by a mixture of A330, A380 and the new B787.

Qantas enemy, Virgin Australia, flies daily between the cities with an A330-200, while it’s frenemy, Cathay Pacific, flies four times daily with A350-900, A330 and B777-300ER.
