Sharon has taken near tear down homes and re finished them into beautiful rustic modern homesteads and made many people happy new homeowners on a budget as a result of all of her imagination and rustic interior design! She can take an old barn board and turn it into something spectacular! She can take a chunk of half rotted Western red cedar tree and turn it into something very unique, rustic, genuine and spectacular! We originally intended to make this beautiful country cabin a VRBO rental for some retirement income, but due to the elevated cost of this beautiful cabin build we are forced to sell it along with some acreage to try to recoup most of our investment in this beautiful and rustic cabin retreat. Starting last Friday, Sharon took 6 days of vacation from her stressful healthcare career to work on the rustic cabin project to try to get it completed. Oh, and of course she has had me working on it with all of my equipment on the outside with things like burying gutter pipes, grading rough hillsides and planting new lawns, burying perforated drain tiles to reduce water erosion, re grading a new driveway and parking areas, laying a new gravel driveway and much more exterior land improvements that needed to also get done for this beautiful rustic cabin build project! And oh by the way it is a large enough home that someone could live in it full time and enjoy nature in their backyard every day! It is over 1500 square feet, has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open concept living area and kitchen. Another absolute ONE OF A KIND BY Sharon! Join Sharon for today's DIY rustic home decor project video as she creates another DIY rustic decor masterpiece. Today she will share with us all how she took a scrap cutoff from a Western Red Cedar log and transformed it into a showcase mirror with natural curves and beautiful red cedar tones! She makes this look really easy and she claims that it actually is a pretty easy DIY rustic project!! A little orbital sanding, polyurethane, a standard mirror and E6000 glue took this scrapped piece of wood to a whole new level of gorgeous. Like what you see?
