Two women, one man dead in east Kansas City shooting

Three people died after a shooting in an east Kansas City neighborhood Friday morning, officials confirmed. The shooting was in a neighborhood near 17th and Chelsea, about a block from Hogan Elementary School. A man and a woman died at the scene. A third woman, who called police just before 10 a.m. to report the shooting, later died at the hospital.
